CBC is offering two grant opportunities to promote research and outreach with respect to the consortium mission. The Seed Grant Initiative (SGI) will support innovative research projects that lead to transformative advances in crop bioengineering technology; while the Multidisciplinary Study Initiative (MSI) will support innovative projects that support public awareness and understanding of crop bioengineering through studies at the interface of regulatory, social, behavioral or economic science and genome engineering technologies. Awards can be used to for any normally allowable research/scholarship activities and are expected to support projects initiated in spring 2017.
